Winner of Ortega y Gasset Projects’ Open Call 2026, the site specific “polychromy” exhibit by Anya Klepikov opens on January 10 (reception 6-8pm) and will be up through February 21, 2026 at OyG Projects, 363 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
“Polychromy” is a site-specific installation that engages the whitewashed interior architecture of the building itself to get at the Industrial history that hovers over our present. Through use of paint, printed fabric, gold leaf, and sculpted elements, it employs optical illusions to bring past and parallel worlds into a contemporary space. Mirrored walls exaggerate traces of life from a long time ago. The natural resource of water which initially brought human activity to the area and ultimately powered the industrial revolution, is manifest in the space. Join us for the opening reception on January 10, 2026 from 6-8pm. https://www.oygprojects.com/
